Chocolate Caramel Pecan Pie

Caramel Sauce:
1 tsp. melted butter
Caramel Sauce:
1 tsp. flour
1/3 c. whipping cream
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar

Filling:
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. melted butter
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup light corn syrup
2 oz. melted unsweetened chocolate
1 cup pecan halves

Unbaked 9″ pie shell

Stir Caramel Sauce ingredients together in glass bowl. Microwave on high until boiling. Boil 2 minutes longer. Set aside. For Filling, blend sugar, butter, eggs and corn syrup together.  Add 1/4 of this Filling mixture to the Caramel Sauce that you set aside. Add chocolate and pecans to remaining Filling. Pour Filling into unbaked 9″ pie crust. Drizzle Caramel Sauce over Filling and bake for 45 minutes or until set.
